Entering through a partially raised window blind, the afternoon sun spills over a lone measuring cup and forms shapes of light and dark upon a kitchen countertop, creating an abstract composition and quiet contemplation.
So interesting to watch the light come in.
But part of me is conditioned to see shadows as sinister and black and white as film noir, so I am keeping my eye on that measuring cup. It might be up to no good.
That is certainly an interesting reaction. I will let you know if the measuring cup gets “up to no good.”
